-Manager-Public Relations

Job Description
• Develop PR strategies in line with the objectives and promotional policies of the Cinnamon brand that will positively influence global awareness providing continuous publicity for the brand
• Coordinate the brand level social responsibility
• Plan and execute PR initiatives to build and maintain favorable consumer and stakeholder perception of the brand
• Media Relations
• Effectively manage the Visiting Journalist Programme (VJP)

Requirements
• Bachelors Degree from a recognized university in Mass Media Communications, MBA or Membership of the Charted Institutes of Marketing
• Experience in the fields of PR, corporate communications, media relations and senior managerial experience in a recognized institute
• Excellent communication skills in English, Sinhala/Tamil

-Manager-Events &promotions

Job Description
• Develop an event policy and event KPI mechanism in line with brand and commercial objectives of the organization
• Identify and develop an events calendar including bidding for new major international and world-class events and coordinate all Travel Fairs along with sponsorship strategy
• Create iconic major events that will have an impact on room nights and the Cinnamon brand
• Develop existing events that have significant growth potential

Requirements
• Bachelors Degree from a recognized university in Mass Media Communications, MBA or Membership of the Charted Institutes of Marketing
• Experience in event management is essential
• Entailing the management of logistics , sponsorship and event marketing particularly in positions of leadership

-Assistant Manager -Social Media Marketing

Job Description
• Utilize social networking sites for digital campaigns
• Ensure that the content of websites are constantly maintained and up to date
• Liaise with the Head of IT for all internet based campaigns including social network marketing
• Manage database and collect permissible data from the hotels for direct marketing activities
• Carry out all direct marketing activities and execute the online market plan

Requirements
• Excellent Knowledge of Social Media Marketing
• Website Management and database management
• Any graphic designing /technical skills is desirable
• Excellent English writing skills

-Marketing Coordinator (Executive Level)

Job Description

• Coordinate all the activities of the brand communication team and implement the marketing plan
• Maintain all records and database
• Manage client data and create Power Point presentations
• With the guidance from the Head of Brands , prepare schedules and documents related to the brand communication team
